Common questions
Is MeetMe free?
Yes. Creating an account, building a profile, matching and messaging are free. Optional paid plans add convenience features such as seeing who liked you first — never safety features, which stay free for everyone.
Who can see my profile?
Only signed-in members who fit your discovery settings. Your profile is not on the public web, is not indexed by search engines, and cannot be viewed by anyone without an account.
Do you show my exact location?
Never. Other members see a city and a broad distance band such as “within 5 km”. Your coordinates are never returned by our apps, and you can hide distance entirely.
What languages does MeetMe work in?
Sinhala, Tamil and English — the whole product, including safety information, reporting and support, not just the marketing pages.
How old do I have to be?
18. We ask for your date of birth when you register and we do not allow accounts below the minimum age.
