The short version
You must be 18 or over. Be honest about who you are. Do not harass, scam or endanger anyone. We can suspend accounts that break these rules, and you can leave at any time.
1. Who may use MeetMe
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must not use MeetMe if we have previously removed your account, or if the law where you are prohibits it. One person, one account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and your account secure. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. We may ask you to re-verify your identity if we see signs of account takeover, duplicate accounts or automated use.
3. What you agree not to do
Do not impersonate anyone, misrepresent your age, harass or threaten other members, solicit money, advertise, scrape or automate the service, share other people's private information, or post content you do not have the right to post. Do not use MeetMe for any commercial or illegal purpose.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of your photos and text. You give us the permission we need to store, process, moderate and display them inside the service so it can function. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep a record for safety, legal or accounting reasons.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We review reported content and may warn, restrict, suspend or remove an account. We record a policy reason for every action. If a decision affects your account you can appeal it, and a different reviewer will look at it.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid plans and credits are optional. Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees before you pay. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep what you paid for until that period ends. Where a purchase is made through an app store, that store's rules also apply.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from inside the product. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where we must to protect other members. We will tell you why unless doing so would compromise a safety investigation or breach the law.
8. What we do not promise
We do not promise that you will meet anyone, that another member is who they claim to be, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We verify what we reasonably can and we act on reports, but you remain responsible for your own decisions about who you meet.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Changes and governing law
If we change these terms materially we will tell you in the app and record which version you accepted. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
